From the Dead Space Wiki's " Dead Space 3 Weapons" article:īlueprints do the assembly work for you, but do not add anything you can't make using the manual assembly interface. You might want to just look up what parts make up a blueprint at a Dead Space wiki site, instead. If you want more control over your resources, avoid creating weapons from blueprints, as it will automatically create a weapon part from your resources if a blueprint requires a part that you currently don't have. Like manually constructed guns, guns constructed from blueprints can be dismantled (so you get the parts back), and modified, if you like the gun you got and would like to improve/tweak it a bit. Also, if you prefer the classic Dead Space 1 and 2 guns, you can just easily build them from blueprints. It's a good way of experimenting on what gun parts do and what kinds of guns you can build, though. I don't think it allows for a "cheaper" gun. If you don't have the weapon parts or resources that a blueprint needs, you still won't be able to construct the gun from a blueprint, like if you're constructing a gun manually. The Force Gun can knock down enemies and create gravity wells.Constructing from blueprints just automatically creates a pre-set gun for you from your available weapon parts and resources. The last weapon in the Dead Space remake, the Force Gun, can be found in Chapter 6, inside West Seedling Room A with Level 2 Security Clearance. Found during Chapter 5 in the Emergency Equipment Storage within ER Hallway A, locked behind Level 2 Security Clearance, the Line Gun fires wide shots and can lay line traps to catch wandering Necromorphs. The sixth weapon, the Line Gun, benefits greatly from collecting schematics throughout the Dead Space remake but is a fun and strategic weapon regardless. The Contact Beam is in Chapter 4, inside the Records Office (which is locked by a Level 2 Security Clearance), dealing both a continued beam of damage and a special shotgun blast. The Flamethrower sets Necromorphs on fire, staggering them while dealing damage over time. This weapon is being carried by a corpse attached to the wall of a hallway on the fifth floor of Engineering, heading towards Fuel Storage. There is a secondary weapon available in Chapter 3 of the Dead Space remake, the Flamethrower.
